INTERNATIONAL ONE PRIZES

The International OP Awards host two major competitions throughout the year, recognizing outstanding news and media projects and public relations agencies. The international awards are a global benchmark for news and public relations achievements and brand building. Every two years, a winner is selected from the winners of the past two years to receive the biennial inaugural award, recognizing their exceptional media relations capabilities. The International OP Awards welcomes your participation!

Can anyone who registers for the One Prizes competition win?

Conditions for winning projects

That’s an excellent question, and the answer is no. Not every entrant who registers for the Press Release One Prizes (PROP) and the PR Agency One Prizes (PRAOP) will win an award. Winners must meet several stringent criteria.

PROP and PRAOP are among the most prestigious and highly respected news and public relations professional competitions globally. The awards are renowned for their rigorous selection process and strict quality standards. The following briefly explains why not all entrants receive an award:

Judging Criteria: The competition jury is composed of international news and PR experts who evaluate each entry based on its own merits. The jury adheres to strict criteria, including the creative concept of the press release and PR strategy, execution effectiveness, media attention, market influence, and long-term value. Detailed criteria can be found on the “Jury” page.

Large Volume of Entries: PROP and PRAOP anticipate receiving a massive number of entries from PR agencies, companies, and organizations worldwide. This high volume of high-quality submissions requires the jury to carefully select only the most outstanding projects.

Award Level Differentiation: PROP and PRAOP offer various levels of awards, including Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Student Awards, among others. Furthermore, the “Biennial International One Prizes” is only conferred upon the most exceptional news and PR cases, typically representing a tiny fraction of all entries.

In summary, simply registering and submitting a press release or PR project is not enough. Your work must meet internationally recognized professional standards to earn recognition from the Press Release One Prizes and PR Agency One Prizes judging panel.
